All Grenson shoes are “Goodyear Welted”, a process invented in the 1800’s in England that is a time consuming way of making shoes, but means that the product lasts longer than any other type of shoes. It also means that the shoe can be re-soled many times over making them a wonderful investment..

Excellent quality footwear. Although a size 9 I like the fact I can order in half sizes. I find that this makes such a difference in comfort.
I was in the market for a pair of brouge boots..after searching the net, Stuarts of London looked the best, price was great on the boots, and after a few emails to Stuarts, who provided great info I ordered size 10G\nShipping was quick and tracking was excellent!\nThe Grenson Fred boots are a great looking boot..the 10G fit is perfect..comfortable boots straight out of the box..if I had to be critical I would say that the thin leather insole wasn't well finished..it curls up when you remove the boot..also the tounge with the laces out has torn slightly on the edges..not great..but once the boot is laced up is not a problem..overall well made, especially the sole and uppers..I own a pair of loake brouge shoes and their construction is definitiey edging out Grenson.. a few tiny design faults that let these boots down!\n\n \n\n
