Style Code: M12-186 Colour: Black/Red
The original twin tipped Fred Perry Shirt. Made by expert hands in Leicester, England and adopting Fred's signature streamlined fit. A piece of British subcultural uniform for 60 years. A true original, the M12 hasn’t changed much since it was originally designed by Fred Perry in the ‘50s. Legend has it that a buyer from Lillywhites requested the addition of football team colours to the plain-colour Fred Perry Shirt. So, Fred added subtle club colours to the collar and cuff and the M12 was born. The piece that took the brand from sportswear to streetwear and the first to carry the signature twin tipping in the 5-4-4 ratio. Designed in Fred’s famous streamlined fit – slightly boxier than the M3600 – its production is a real labour of love, with each polo knitted, dyed, cut, embroidered and hand-finished in Leicester, England. The colour palette references the tones found in the original Fred Perry catalogues.
