To spread the basic power of being outside, Merrell was created. They think that everyone can use the trail. Their mission is to provide products that exceed expectations in terms of performance, adaptability, and durability.
When John Schweizer and Clark Matis, two executives for the Rossignol ski firm, decided to start a new manufacturer of hiking boots in 1981, Merrell was born. The business has been a fully owned subsidiary of Wolverine World Wide, a leader in the shoe industry, since 1997. Merrell is now the industry leader in outdoor athletic footwear, with products like the Moab hiking boot and the Jungle Moc enabling everyone to experience the outdoors with confidence.
