Behind The Label

Founded in 1939, Novesta's story goes back to the European industrialisation times when famous shoemaker Jan Antonin Bata opened his new factory in a small town in the middle of Slovakia. Over time, Novesta became one of the top shoe companies and its unique trainers are a favourite not only in Europe but all over the world. Novesta don't use chemicals or glue in their shoe-making processes. Instead, the rubber sole is pressed by a high-pressure machine onto the canvas body and hand-trimmed afterwards. This process leaves a little rubber line around the shoe - a sign of quality craftsmanship

Our range of Novesta shoes and trainers offers a stunning selection of natural and handmade shoes perfect for all occasions. Whether you are looking for a wardrobe staple or you simply want to add something that little bit different into your rotation - Novesta is the perfect option for you. Dress them up or down for year-round wear, offering versatile footwear options so you never feel stuck for choice.
