Natural indigo is extracted from the "Indigofera Tinctoria" plant, one of the world's most important historical natural dyes - the one dye that gave denim its blue color.
These jeans have been washed down to a mid-blue hue with bright-blue highlights. It has a clear blue, redcast hue thanks to the natural indigo dye. The denim has a slightly slubby and grainy character that has been pronounced by the wash giving the jeans a depth and level of detail that is lovely. Over thighs, knees, and back pockets abrasions and contrasting wear-marks highlight the jeans, further increasing the depth of these lovely, natural indigo jeans.
