OAS was born in the opposite climate of the cold Swedish winters, inspired by founder Oliver Lundgren’s trips to his holiday home in Barcelona. The brand began with espadrilles, which couldn’t be found locally, before expanding into swim trunks, shirts and beach towels to become the contemporary Swedish menswear brand it is today.
OAS derives it's name from the three initials of the Swedish founder´s name (Oliver Adam Sebastian) and was born as a resort brand during his numerous trips to the family’s summer house in Barcelona. It all started with Oliver continuously suppling his friends with the rare espadrilles footwear, that at the time, 2010, were not possible to find anywhere in Scandinavia. Soon after the footwear was joined by swimwear and OAS grew into the resort brand it is today.
