Edwin
Edwin is a legendary Japanese denim and clothing brand founded in Tokyo in 1947 by Tsunemi_Yonehachi, originally established to import and sell American jeans in post_war Japan before launching Japan's first domestically made denim in 1961; its name is a creative rearrangement of the word -denim,- reflecting its deep roots in the fabric's culture and craftsmanship. Over the decades Edwin became known for pioneering innovations-such as heavy ringspun denim with rainbow selvedge in the 1960s, developing -old wash- techniques in the 1970s and stone washing in the 1980s-and has continued to set standards in denim design, production technology, exclusive fabrics and fit while expanding internationally with flagship stores across Europe and beyond.
