Service Works was born from founder Tom Chaundley's love for good food. Growing up in a family-run hospitality business and working in kitchens, Tom often wore his work uniform even during his off-hours, including while skating. After a decade of wearing these Chef Pants, Tom realized that no one else made trousers that suited everyone and fulfilled their true purpose. This insight inspired him to create his own line of versatile and functional workwear.

Behind The Label

Tom, like many others in the hospitality sector, faced a dilemma: wearing low-quality disposable trousers or using his own better-quality clothes, which quickly became soiled in the kitchen. Additionally, thicker cotton or denim trousers proved too hot for the kitchen environment. This led Tom to develop a solution that struck a balance between durability and comfort, inspiring him to launch his brand in 2010.
