Pompeii

Pompeii was established out of a shared lack of inspiration during their university studies. The founders decided to launch their own shoe company fuelled by their mutual passion for sneakers and camaraderie. Following years of selling shoes while traveling across Spain in a van, they crystallized their ultimate goal: to create a lifestyle brand centred around the idea of "walking," symbolising continuous movement of the spirit, body, and mind.

Behind The Label

Bruno's story starts in Scandicci, Florence, in 1970. The founder of the firm, Bruno Beni, decides to adorn his shoes with the traditional rope. Since the rope is hand-attached to each shoe, no two are alike-this is the key to their success. Throughout its history, the factory has collaborated with some of the leading footwear companies in Italy. Over the years, Monica, Antonio, and Francesco-the founder's three sons-have all held positions in the company. Their presence guaranteed the custom's continuance and further renewal. The Brunos are working as hard as they did yesterday at their Scandicci shoe factory.
